A magnificent public transport experience to Ellis Park! On Gautrain at 13:48 via Sandton, arrived at Park Station 8 mins later. Excellent security, friendly PRASA Group stewards showing us to platform 7, arrived at Ellis Park Station at 14:19. First beer: 14:24. Bravo!

We took the Gautrain from Hatfield to Parkstation, then took the free PRASA train to Ellis Park Stadium, and wow! This was a seamless and well organised event! Places were clean, friendly staff, police presence. Joburg felt like a world class African city. 🇿🇦#Springboks #RSAvNZL

Permitting motorists to turn right on a red light at most urban and suburban intersections is deadlier for pedestrians. We’ve known this for 40 years.

The first time I drove here I immediately thought noor man. The speed limit is incongruent with the design, and the design is incongruent with the area the road passes through. It was an odd experience and mostly left me concerned for the safety of all road users.
