Fantastic news for V&A Dundee - a great museum & a wonderful client.

Great to be working with Leah Harrison Bailey De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on an interpretation plan for a delivery phase The National Lottery Heritage Fund application. Part of a great project team aiming to transform the building, better communicating its heritage & stories & attracting new audiences.

Finally visited Migration Museum in its final week in Lewisham - should have got my act together sooner as it’s fantastic, creative, engaging, open & really inspiring. Hope it finds a temporary home & looking forward to seeing it in its permanent home in Aldgate in 2027.

Lucky enough to spend a long weekend in Rome - so much to see in this huge outdoor museum of classical, medieval, Renaissance and Baroque wonders that (whisper it) we didn’t step inside a single museum or gallery!

A great event bringing the West Cork History Festival (which - full disclaimer - I co-founded) to Dublin to discuss such an important & timely subject.

I’m so pleased to be working on a new project in Cork, researching & interpreting the beautiful early 18th century Civic Trust House The project is funded by The Heritage Council

A flying visit to Belfast earlier in the week. Took a quick look at this stunning Art Deco former bank building on Royal Avenue which will become the new Belfast Stories. Also visited City Hall, with its beautiful dome. #belfast

Interesting & thought-provoking talk by fellow freelancer & friend Steve Slack yesterday National Portrait Gallery exploring what it means to paint, sit for, exhibit and view a ‘queer’ portrait as well as reflections on interpreting these artworks.
