Dear Society If you get an opportunity to uplift a deaf / person with a disability, please never hesitate to do so Unemployed Deaf /PWDs are clouded with low self esteem. Most are even disrespected by their own communities SAVE A DEAF/PWD FROM DEPRESSION #BetterTogether #Ciru

Good morning As we raise awareness on Suicide Prevention, let us also remember how much vulnerable #PWDs are when it comes to mental health and take action! #DeafAwarenessMonth #SuicideAwarenessMonth

Most appalling thing I’ve heard today is someone saying reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities is an entitlement and not a right, in a roomful of persons with disabilities. Negating the provision of stipulated in the UNCRPD.

Like, I am still shook! We have people who actually go as far as to ask us for our reasonable accommodation needs before we even think to ask for them yet here’s someone thinking they’re doing favours in fulfilling this ‘entitlement’. I can’t!
