I really struggle with this sort of thing. Why does one person get to write an entirely new version of the Eucharistic service, including a new translation of the Nicene Creed? Why do they get to use it to replace the BCP service in their parish?

I am proud to say that I heard one of the few sermons about evangelism and our duty to share the gospel to everyone regardless of circumstances, culture, or nation today at Grace Episcopal Church. Thank you, to the Rev. Seldon!

So heere's the truth. "Via media" was a common rhetorical move going back to antiquity. Aristotle's golden mean and all that. It is not some peculiar property of the Anglican tradition. Now, plenty of Anglicans did use it. Cranmer and Joseph Hall are two big names from early on.

Seeing pictures of a recent episcopal consecration in the CofE once again convinces me that the modest dignity of rochet and chimere are far more fitting and appropriate than cope and mitre.

I am so thrilled as an Anglican Protestant that The Bible Project is finally making content about the Old Testament Apocrypha. bibleproject.com/videos/collect…

Daniel Heaton Of the hundreds of comments & retweets from Romanists I read, haven’t seen one abt ecumenical sharing or mutual understanding — they’re abt conquest, shoving Protestantism out, & denial of the right of the English church to determine its own doctrine & discipline

I know it's deeply unpopular to most modern people to say this, but there is an urgent need to bring people (and congregations) into conformity. If they can't be persuaded, then the spiritual responsibility is on them. This isn't Choose Your Own Adventure. x.com/cath_cov/statu…

倪神父 ‘Hezekiah broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the people of Israel had made offerings to it’ —2Kg 18:4 The serpent was a good thing, the people looked at it and were saved (Num 21), but Hezekiah had it smashed because of their idolatry.
