倪神父 ‘Hezekiah broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the people of Israel had made offerings to it’ —2Kg 18:4 The serpent was a good thing, the people looked at it and were saved (Num 21), but Hezekiah had it smashed because of their idolatry.
