We are experiencing a high volume of calls for service tonight due to the high winds in the City of Toronto 🇨🇦 If there are no injuries, please dial 3-1-1 311 Toronto and only call 9-1-1 in the case of an EMERGENCY. Please, keep this line free for life and death situations. Stay safe

A huge thank you and shout out to our call takers and dispatchers who are handling an extremely large volume of calls tonight as our City of Toronto 🇨🇦 experiences a wind storm. They are highly trained professionals, a life line, and the voice of calm in chaos and confusion. 🚒

Please help us ensure that Paramedics are available for the most seriously ill and injured patients. Remember, 9-1-1 is for medical emergencies that pose an immediate threat to life and require rapid intervention. #MakeTheRightCall

Wonder what Box 12 Association is? They are a group of dedicated volunteers who attend fires that are challenging due to a number of factors such as duration of time at scene, extreme weather and offer hydration, nutrition and respite to the Toronto Fire Services 🇨🇦 front line. Thank you!
