She lives! After months in maintenance being overhauled to include a new transmission, Air Rescue 306 is airborne once again. A few more runs ups and she’ll be back saving lives. Awesome jobs by our aviation maintenance staff!

⚠️ CALL OUT ⚠️ Thursday, Feb 11th, 11:15pm - Friday 4:15pm: Several SBCSD WVSAR members spent the night on the mountain, en-route to rescue two stranded hikers from Mt Baldy. A county-wide page for assistance went out & members from other SBSAR teams answered the call to assist

This hiker was fortunate. Had he not had a PLB, help would have been further delayed. We made attempts to rescue him by air, however weather conditions made it impossible. Thankfully our Search & Rescue teams were able to hike in and affect a rescue. #BringPropergear Angeles National Forest

Air Rescue 306 & 307, along with 40 King 6 spent the afternoon assisting San Bernardino County Fire with a brush fire in the Oro Grande area. Between the 3 aircraft, crews made over 100 drops on the fire. #Heritagefire

Coming soon… San Bernardino County Sheriff will be receiving a Subaru Bell 412EPX Helicopter. The new aircraft will be used for law enforcement, emergency medical services & fire suppression with delivery taking place early to mid of next year!
