Building thinkdeli. Last gig was Customer Success at Last9.

So excited to share one of my white-whale projects: a fully physics-based, holographic foil shader. Each pixel simulates a ray of light diffracting into a rainbow of waves, which add and subtract to create these incredible patterns. Not a single gradient was used here!

Just like Notion, it took years of quiet building before Replit really took off. A beautiful example of “overnight success” that only took a decade. So thrilled for Amjad Masad and the whole Replit crew — what a milestone. (I'm not an investor, although I def wish I was!)

Good decision making requires breaks An analysis of 1,112 parole board decisions in Israel revealed that judges became strikingly less likely to grant parole the longer they went without a break. Probability of a favorable ruling: + Beginning of the day: 65% + Right before

One of our customers called to say they closed a deal thanks to our product. Made my day. 🥹 This is the reason I build. Now onto making sure they close many more deals.

You have to be delusional to be an entrepreneur. The odds are stacked against you but you don't care. Everyone else sees reasons why it won't work. You only see reasons why it will.

Your core proposition needs to make sense to users. They don't care about your fancy features. People use thinkdeli to write more because it is a super fast and 0 distractions editor. Talk-to-your-notes is the least used feature in thinkdeli.

You are probably right to wonder what's different now. We already had this ability 2 weeks ago. Two weeks ago, most of us were tied to our computers. We had to decide to do some coding, open up the relevant repo in our IDE, then tell an agent what to do. We wrote small prompts,

ok. So started with gemini cli. Not having to look at the same code thrice (twice in the diff in the IDE and once in the side panel) is a lot better for preserving my cognitive bandwidth. enjoying this new UI/UX for coding. I think slowly everyone will migrate to AI agent

I remember Sundays of the past where I wasn’t excited for the work week. I remember the 4PM dread thinking about the next day. Now, every single Sunday, I am stoked for the next week of building software. I am exactly where my sixteen year old self dreamt of being. Life is good.
