As a coach, learn to put yourself in the shoes of your players. By having emotional intelligence and empathy, you can connect with your players on a deeper level and help them reach their full potential.

Sports Psychology Marcus Freeman said, "What leadership entails is dependent on what your team needs." It requires emotional intelligence to lead. • It means adaptability. • It means being team-first. • It means reading the room. Leadership is connection and action.

17u players…for most of you, today is you last day playing AAU basketball. Your parents have spent thousands, used vacation time, worked in the car and from hotels, been nervous for you, and have had many sleepless nights. Thank them, hug them, tell them you love them.

I'm extremely blessed to have received a Division 1 offer from the University of Denver. I extend my sincerest thanks to Coach Berg and the rest of the Denver Coaching Staff for their consideration and support. #GoPioneers #Blessed #Summitleague #TheChosenOne #JaelonGermany

It is DIABOLICAL to want a program to develop your kid’s skills, coach them, provide a platform for them to play on, & travel with them across the country for FREE.. Seriously, have some “skin” invested, pay for these some of these services.. Please.

If you’re with a program that does all of these things, trains, develops, puts the kids on an elite platform all for free… You should be very appreciative & thankful, because these coaches, directors have their own lives & families that they leave to help kids.
