During break, a little girl sneaked into school and was seen talking to a photograph. A teacher discovered she was talking to a photo of her Mum. The teacher asked other staff and discovered this child lived at her father’s home and her mother was denied any contact with her.

It is heartbreaking that any child should be killed by a parent. Someone entrusted to love & care for them. Keira’s death is an absolute tragedy. We agree no child should have unsupervised ‘contact’ with an abusive parent. More children are killed by mothers in the UK
