Absolutely delighted for Sir John Rutter! I’m not sure anyone has done more for choral singing worldwide and, specifically, the fabric of choral singing in the U.K. A much, much deserved honour.

Solo music by 7 women tomorrow St Michael & All Angels W4: Beach, Farrenc, Bonds, LBoulanger, CSchumann, @CherylHoad and, as here, Maria Hester Park - a recent discovery for me. Phrasing imperfect (recording is THE MOST useful bit of practice!) - but I love the sunny elegance of this music.

Aside from the obvious ignorance of Kemi Badenoch’s opinion of neurodiversity this, coupled with her position on maternity pay, suggests she is a politician drowning in her own self righteous cruelty. I pity the people that support her.
