Congratulations to Mr. David Hornbeck who won the Teacher of Excellence in Secondary Mathematics Award from the Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics! Mr. Hornbeck teaches AP Statistics and Precalculus at Rockdale Magnet.

A visit to Ms. Smith’s College Readiness class Heritage HS-Conyers was a great way to start the day! I observed a GaDOEMath learning plan in action and students connecting to their lived experiences and prior knowledge! 👏🏾

Math Night was a success tonight. We want to thank Ms. Bailey the district’s math coach for leading an informative meeting.

Tonight our parents and scholars participated in tons of math games that were in alignment with the new standards.
