✅Free public transport for children under 9 would be a step in the right direction of making public transport more accessible for everyone 👏More measures like these, less one-off giveaways please #Budget2025 irishtimes.com/politics/2024/…

Without #GreensinGovernment, do you think we would have achieved a 6.8% reduction in emissions last year? 48,000 homes retrofitted? New public transport routes all across rural Ireland? Not a hope. In 2020, we promised a Decade of Change. We need to see that promise through.

The deposit return scheme is outperforming expectations, and it has been really great to see how it has taken off with community and charity groups making use of the scheme for fundraising. checkout.ie/retail/re-turn…

Yes the Greens have delivered in Government. The decade of change is not over. The floods alone this week should be a reminder that now more than ever we need to make sure we keep reaching our climate targets & building a better future for all. Only the Green Party Ireland will do that.

Walking or cycling to school needs safe roads and cycle paths parents trust. Until we have them kids will still be driven to school from across the road - Sen. Róisín Garvey newstalk.com/news/green-par…

I previously submitted and will continue to push that Dublin Port should not expand due to the impact on the environment, increase in traffic, and the fact that we should build housing on the site instead. But what do you think? Make sure to put in your observation before 25/9.

We should absolutely pass the OTB. Israel has breached international law with impunity for too long - the continuing ccupation, the illegal settlements, the never ending slaughter in Gaza, the deepening apartheid, the ongoing Nakba. passing the OTB is the least we can do.

Last night in the Dáil, we debated a motion on childcare. Here are the facts, under this Government: 📈 Investment in childcare has doubled (€600m to €1.2bn) 🤝 Pay for staff has increased ✂️ Fees have been cut by an average 50% ⬇️ Service closures are at a 5 year low ⬆️

Big relief! The planning application for aslot machine hall in Dolphin's Barn has been REJECTED. I'm glad to see they accepted the key point made in my observation: this was an attempt to sneak a gambling establishment in as something else.

Great news today. The planning application for a slot machine hall in Dolphin's Barn has been REJECTED by Dublin City Council. It's a leech of an industry that was trying to sneak through the planning process as something more innocent. Glad that planners have seen through it.

The Department of Education has agreed to my and EducateD8's request for a new Gaelcholáiste in Dublin 8. We still need a new Gaelcholáiste for Dublin 10 and 12. Dublin 8 also needs a new non/multi-denominational secondary school. I again raised this with the Taoiseach this week.
