As my first full week as the County Councillor for Knebworth and Codicote comes to an end, I’ve hit the ground running discovering how best to deliver on my plan for our community, as well as learning more about how Hertfordshire County Council delivers for residents right across Hertfordshire ⬇️

With a history stretching back to the 15th Century, it was a real privilege to visit Knebworth House yesterday to find out from Henry Cobbold more about Knebworth’s past, as well as what the future might hold.

Keir Starmer's deal meets none of our five Brexit tests. Kemi Badenoch is clear - we will reverse it at the earliest opportunity.

Great to attend my first meeting of Hertfordshire County Council as the County Councillor for Knebworth and Codicote. I’m proud of the Conservatives record on education in Hertfordshire which is why I’m delighted to have been appointed as the Shadow Cabinet Member for Education ⬇️

I was elected to tell the truth. So I only announce policies that are costed, clear, or save money—anything else is a lie. Our country can turn itself around, but not with empty promises. This press conference is a reminder that only Conservatives offer economic competence.

Last week, HertsCommissioner Jonathan Ash-Edwards launched his Police and Crime Plan which outlines how Herts Police will make Hertfordshire safer over the next few years. I took the opportunity to ask Jonathan how his plan will deliver for people across Knebworth and Codicote ⬇️

It's one year of Labour in government - and what a year it's been! Congratulations to Keir Starmer and the team for all these achievements 👇

Great to join colleagues from across the political divide for the annual Local Government Association Conference in Liverpool last week. Topped off by a superb speech from Kemi Badenoch about the important role Conservatives Councillors can play to restore trust in our party.

As County Councillors, we are the custodians of County Hall for the people of Hertfordshire. It’s incredibly disappointing the Lib Dems have decided to proceed with their flawed plans to sell the site, despite serious concerns raised by Conservatives. hertsad.co.uk/news/25283418.…

From today, residents in North Herts face the worst bin collection rota in the East of England with bins being collected once every three weeks. Labour and the Lib Dems say it will increase recycling rates, yet other authorities outperform North Herts Council without cutting services.
