Onze Koninklijke Luchtmacht Vliegbasis Eindhoven C-130’s en KDC10 en bemanningen zijn onderweg om vanuit een naburig land een luchtbrug op te zetten naar #Kabul. Hopelijk snel de eerste mensen veilig a/boord en onderweg. Gedachten bij de crews die deze klus klaren- bij hen in de beste handen.

.Michel Rentenaar is met een team vanuit Irak onderweg naar #Kabul om Caecilia Wijgers en het crisisteam te versterken. Er wordt 24/7 doorgewerkt met Ministerie van Defensie om meer Nederlanders en Afghanen die in aanmerking komen te evacueren en vluchten veilig te laten vertrekken.

Vanmorgen is de twaalfde evacuatievlucht vanuit #Kabul uitgevoerd. Aan boord van de C-130, die is geland in Islamabad, waren 137 passagiers, waaronder een onbekend aantal Nederlanders. @minbz defensie.nl/onderwerpen/ev…

Naast de evacuatie in Afghanistan waar we 24/7 doorwerken, verlenen we ook noodhulp in Haïti met Zr.Ms.Holland en blijven de Chinooks langer in Albanië vanwege verwoestende natuurbranden. Dat is waar onze mensen voor staan: hulp bieden onder extreme omstandigheden.
