African Girls Can Code Initiative phase 3 has kicked off with 120 girls! These girls will learn a lot in the coming 2 weeks! Thanks to UN Women Rwanda and Ministry of Education | Rwanda for giving the girls this golden opportunity that will pave their way into the world of Tech and STEM in general!
Today, UN Women in partnership with Ministry of Education | Rwanda, Ministry of ICT and Innovation | Rwanda & Ministry of Gender & Family Promotion | Rwanda, launched Phase3 of African Girls Can Code Initiative, bringing together 120 girls from across Rwanda to learn coding, robotics &digital skills. Huge thanks to Bundesentwicklungsministerium, I&M Bank (Rwanda) Plc. & Digital Transformation Center Rwanda for making this possible!
“There are no limits to what you can achieve & for the next two weeks, we're supporting you,” said Mr. Yves Iradukunda, PS Ministry of ICT and Innovation | Rwanda, at the African Girls Can Code Initiative bootcamp. The programme aligns with national efforts to scale and ensure no girl is left behind in the digital future.
