Out of nearly 2,000 public schools in our state, the O'Donnell in East Boston saw one of the biggest improvements in attendance over the past year. MassEducation Secretary Tutwiler and I wanted to recognize their hard work — and so did the world champion Boston Boston Celtics 🏀

Community college is now free in Massachusetts — and it’s the most comprehensive, universal program in America. Grateful for the partnership of Senate President Spilka, the Legislature, our state's 15 community colleges, and the students who shared their stories with us today.
