Surrogacy. I used to think it was this beautiful, selfless act where a woman helps another have a child. But now I see it for what it often is, a womb rental under capitalism. If we are being realmost surrogates aren’t rich, empowered women doing this out of pure sisterhood.

the average wait time for an endometriosis diagnosis is 7 years & if you want to access the gold standard of endo surgery to try & manage your pain (excision surgery) 95% of the time you have to pay for a private consultation & wait an additional 2 years btw… but yay football🤗

Again, pretending to find a conscience now, as we enter the endgame stage of a genocide you did PR for, is not going to wash. The BBC should never be forgiven for its complicity, its self-censorship, and how it allowed itself to be pushed around by lobbyists to hide the truth.

The absolute worst of humanity. How as human beings can we sit back and watch this happen to innocent individuals and kids. Tonight we’ll go to sleep comfortably in our beds, many with kids of our own yet this is what those in Gaza face, as well as being starved. There is

At 19 I was told my health came second to my future husband. At 22 I was told I would feel differently once I was “in love” At 24 my boyfriend was asked if he would still love me if I couldn’t bear children. My autonomy was violated for 5 years for a hypothetical baby 🧵

“Your boos mean nothing to me. I’ve seen what you cheer.” Is a goated doctrine. If Rick and Morty gave us anything, it gave us that.

Wow. Today marks 50 years since women in the UK were legally allowed to get a mortgage themselves without written permission of a father or husband. And you guys think we’ve ’come so far’ and don’t need to go any further in freeing women🤣🙏🏾.

So: - There was no bra fitting, JK Rowling did indeed (allegedly) lie. - M&S did not actually apologise to the bigot, they "gosh I'm sorry you felt that way"-ed - the woman being harassed and victimised is not actually confirmed to be transgender.

Dear God. I’ve never heard a woman, especially a feminist, refer to herself as “egg-producing equipment.” A line that could have come straight out of The Handmaid’s Tale.

Don’t appoint a landlord as Homelessness Minister. Don’t appoint someone taking thousands in donations from private health companies as Health Secretary. Dont appoint someone taking thousands from Israeli lobbyists as Home Secretary. There’s a theme here.

I hate that doctors have pre-determined a timeframe for when its okay for women to have sex after birth. There is no prescribed time frame for when a woman feels physically and emotionally healed enough to have sex after birth until she knows shes ready.

I have a hope that one day, travelling to my local hospital will not be as hard for me emotionally as it currently is. It’s the hospital I was born in but it’s also where my mum died. Traumatic memories flood my mind whenever I come here but I have to because of my health.
