Malawi has one of world's lowest levels of electricity access. Only 14% of Malawians (5.6% in rural areas) are connected to grid. So, forests are cut, burned - 20% of forests lost in last 20 years. Biogas production is proposed as solution, burning farm waste to make electricity.
