Boards resulted today. Hard to celebrate after hearing a 21 yo get shot in the head 1000 ft. from our home last night. As a newly board-certified pediatrician I feel even more the gravity of our responsibility to address cause #1 of mortality in young men in Philadelphia today

Let me be clear: New York will not stand for a single day, hour, or minute of hate against our communities. Support our Jewish neighbors, stay vigilant, and report anything suspicious: 1-888–NYC-SAFE #ShabbatOfPeaceNotHate nbcnewyork.com/news/local/nyp…

In 2023, there have been more mass shootings than days this year. Gun violence is a public health emergency and we must work together to end this national tragedy. In today’s The New York Times, I’m standing with 45 of my colleagues to #PreventGunViolence

Excited to be moving to Pittsburgh for fellowship at PCCM Pittsburgh with @JennyRuizMD. Now hopefully when I’m a fellow I don’t have to consult her as an attending…she scary. 😂

Never thought an outlook outage would cripple my work life. What am I supposed to be doing? Where am I supposed to be? Who am I meeting? Who am I? Literally having an existential crisis...

Norma🌻 Almost anything in that list can lead to a baby's demise. - no vit K -> brain bleed - no PKU -> undiagnosed metabolic/thyroid disease leading to death - no stim -> baby doesn't breathe I do put patients first. In this case, the patient would be the baby, who I want to survive.
