Season’s Reflections: Evening Cricket yahooovercowcorner.wordpress.com/2025/10/21/sea… Possibly the best evening cricket league in the UK is the CheshireCountyCricketLge O40s competition. Many participants have gone on to play county O50s. Its a mystery why every league in the country doesn’t adopt a similar format.
Great to meet Don Topley (Toppers), who spotted my MCC sweater as we were leaving the Optus Stadium this evening & enjoy an all too short chat about the game. Enjoy the rest of the tour sir.
All stalwarts of the Manchester & District Cricket Association too. Congratulations gentlemen. 👏
RIP Graham Vaughan ex Worsley Cricket Club.
Walking cricket sessions also available at Abraham Moss, Blackpool, Eccles & Wythenshawe leisure centres & Thatto Heath ARLFC, with women only groups at Bolton & Old Trafford - see Lancashire Cricket Foundation for details.
