Do you know that the #EBRS2024 will take place in Catalonia❓😁 Catalunya is a biodiversity hotspot, being at the corner between the Iberian Peninsula, the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees. Check all the #ecotourism activities you can engage in at Catalunya Experience 🤗 #bats

Dispelling fear of bats! Great session with 40 kids and their carers in Esmareldas, Ecuador last night. Best bit was the grandma who decided they were so cute she wanted her picture taken with them! #bats #wildlife #conservation

There she goes (look at her calling first!).. Always a delight to get a bat back into the wild. Thanks to East Dorset Bat Rescue and their vet David, who helped me patch up this Leisler's. 🦇

Was out today deploying bat detectors with Teignbridge wildlife wardens, putting Kieran's methodology to work! Together with Bat Conservation Trust and Vincent Wildlife, we are finding out more about the eastern and western limits to the distribution of these gorgeous bats in the UK.

Oh yes baby! Just as we were packing up last night, caught this rare and gorgeous barbastelle. It now has a radiotag so hopefully I can find its colony Wild East Devon. Bat Conservation Trust Vincent Wildlife @naturalengland #bats

I kind of feel at this point that there should be a "brace" position for infectious diseases like there is for air craft crashes... if you own ruminants in the UK this really is very serious

Are the days of crawling around searching for bats numbered? Learning all about monitoring using new remote techniques at #ebrs2024. But will it be as much fun? #bats Wiltshire Bat Group #conservation
