There are more states in the US that allow conversion therapy than those that protect LGBTQ youth from it. In 2019, the Williams Institute estimated that almost 700,000 LGBT adults in the US were subjected to conversion therapy. williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/publications/c…

Reflect on how failing to retract papers that support dangerous "interventions" that place LGBTQ people at risk (see also the Williams Institute report) provides "evidence" for those in support of conversion therapy. Is this how you want your work to be used?
