Having to repeat yourself, prepare yourself before engaging, or plan your response requires a lot of emotional energy. When your relationships demand a lot of emotional preparation, it makes sense when you create distance. Some people can be too much.

We did something similar the summer of 2020. Y’all called us savages and kettled us. Kyle Rittenhouse, a minor, was driven across state lines by his mother with an illegally owned firearm, killed 2 protestors, ran to the police for protection, got off, and is touring now.

I did not get the job :-/ Even with having other interviews lined up, the rejection still stings!

from keke to tracee to meg to janelle..there has been an overflow of policing black women/femmes bodies & sexuality on my timeline the past few days… & i love how despite the foolishness, black women/femmes continue to carry on. let these ppl be big mad. it’s a new day.
