29 November 1338 Birth of Lionel of Antwerp, Duke of Clarence, 2nd son of Edward III. He grew to be almost 7' tall but died aged 29 at the feast for his 2nd marriage. Lionel is great-great-grandfather to Richard, 3rd Duke of York & the root of the Yorkist claim to the throne.
