Ludwik Pius Bartosik became a Catholic priest in 1935 and worked with Friar Maksymilian Kolbe. During WW2, he was arrested by the Gestapo and deported to German KL Auschwitz concentration camp, where he endured regular beatings and abuse until his death #OTD in 1941.
