12 December 1934 | A Norwegian Jewish girl, Fanny Synnøve Ganz, was born in Oslo. In November 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Lea and her brother Charles. They were all murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

12 December 1938 | French Jewish boy, Abel Bac, was born in Paris. He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy on 25 September 1942. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

13 December 1943 | A French Jewish boy, Leon Herbstman, was born in Vichy. On 13 April 1944, he was deported from #Drancy to #Auschwitz in a group of 1,500 Jews. On 16 April 1944, he was murdered in a gas chamber together with his mom Frida and father Henri.

13 December 1915 | A Dutch Jewish woman, Naatje de Leeuw-Levie, was born in Arnhem. In November 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She did not survive.

December 13, 1941 | Deportation of Jews from Muenster, #Germany, to the Riga Ghetto, Latvia. From the around 550 Jewish population of Muenster before the Holocaust, only 24 are known to have survived the concentration camps.

Ludwik Pius Bartosik became a Catholic priest in 1935 and worked with Friar Maksymilian Kolbe. During WW2, he was arrested by the Gestapo and deported to German KL Auschwitz concentration camp, where he endured regular beatings and abuse until his death #OTD in 1941.

13 December 1882 | A Czech Jew, Josef Haim, was born in Mladá Vožice. He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt ghetto on 6 September 1943. He did not survive.

14 December 1934 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Martha Doof, was born in Amsterdam. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 11 February 1943 in a transport of 1,184 Jews deported from Westerbork. She was among 1,005 of the murdered in gas chambers after the selection.
