It was pleasure to visit Djibouti talk about all things Immunisation, Gavi support and domestic financing, His Excellency Dr Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh 🇩🇯 has an inspiring vision to consistently reach 95% children with vaccines, the domestic financing roadmap will be key in achieving this vision!

We’ve set a goal to reduce the number of zero-dose children by 25% by 2025, and by 50% by 2030. Nigeria has the second highest number of #zerodosechildren in the world so it will be a priority country for Alliance partners to work together to reach and protect communities.

The campaign will target over 10 million girls between 10-14 years of age to protect against the second most common cancer among women in Bangladesh. As Gavi’s Thabani Maphosa says, this is a critical step towards “protecting the health and potential of all girls.”
