the point of self driving cars isn’t safety. by eliminating human ride-hail drivers, corporations can flood cities with their cars. they’ll increase VMT just like uber/lyft have, and compete w transit, having negative impacts on the environment and equitable transportation.

So the bad news is that Spotify locked me out and their support agent says they can’t find any record of my account. But at least their billing system is going strong enough to charge their monthly fee to my card 25 times this month. 🥴
