I see a fair amount of law professors tweeting about the most recent Harvard Law Review contretemps. However, law professors could solve such problems by not relying on publication in student law reviews as evidence for tenure, and instead solve the problem themselves.

The Stanford Law Review has joined a nationwide coalition of law reviews advocating for compensation for our labor. We encourage other law reviews to join.

I am truly shocked by this. This is fundamentally wrong and needs to be remedied by law faculties.

Pretty amazing upside-downworld stuff: when Congress *actually* tries to legislate under sec. 5 (or it's 13th or 15th Amendment counterparts), the justices strike it down. Sec. 5 is only usable as a cudgel against other institutions when Congress is silent, apparently.
