University statements are cute but please feel free to pay property taxes or admit more of your Black neighbors. Hire more at fair living wages. Teach an accurate history of your presence in their community. Stop creating your own police forces.

Any university that doesn’t immediately find a work-around to allow international students to stay on F1 visas in AY2020-2021 is complicit in a catastrophically stupid and racist policy.
