Yesterday I worked with all of the pupils Luttons Primary Academy KS2 were finding the mass of construction objects and painting their models of the new hall we are building for them. KS1 were investigating levers, pivots and linkages as part of their D&T learning. Ebor Academy Trust

Always nice to see our apprentices doing well with their College based learning. Congratulations to Jacob on his 'Apprentice of the Month' award from Hull Training and Adult Education . It has been great to see his knowledge and skills develop in Joinery over the last 9 months.

Great day working with Luttons Primary School. The KS 2 pupils were making a pneumatic vehicle as part of their Design & Technology Curriculum. They designed and made a 'JP Developers' Van which is powered by a balloon. We had lots of fun testing them out today. Ebor Academy Trust

We worked with Luttons School today KS1 looked at how data can be organised to gain quick access to information in our company. They created ways to show statistics for equipment we use on site. I worked with KS2 to look at how companies use QR codes to handle data Ebor Academy Trust

Had a great day with Luttons Primary Academy . The KS1 pupils were hunting for minibeasts in their wildlife area. They will use their findings to create a results table on their Chromebooks. The KS2 children were looking at ways to use infrared technology in the new hall. Ebor Academy Trust

On Friday, I attended The Bridlington School Careers Fair. Lots of engagement with students from Y7 to Y10. A very well organised event with students asking lots of questions about construction. Part of our commitment to providing social value throughout the East Riding Council YORhub

Great to return back to Garton on the Wolds CE Primary School this morning to deliver another woodwork session. We supplied the materials for small groups of pupils to make bird boxes for their nature area. All part of our social value offer to East Riding Council YORhub

It was my final session working with Luttons Primary Academy last week. KS1 built a bug hotel and KS2 were using 'real life' data to find statistics for the apprentice hours we have provided at the site. They were using filters to find specific values and creating graphs. Ebor Academy Trust

Project completion: Brid Spa 1500 new led lights, inc colour changing strip lighting controlled by the existing DMX controls, meaning the stage lighting effects can be enhanced by the room lighting. We have provided 22 wks training for our 3 Electrical Apprentices East Riding Council

We place great importance on training the next generation of construction workers. Therefore we are pleased to update that since the start of 2025, JP Developers have provided nearly 6,000 hours of invaluable on site training for our 8 apprentices. YORhub East Riding Council

We attended the launch of the MUGA refurb last week at The Nth Parade Rec Ground in Skipton. Through the YOR4Good fund, we relayed the line markings, painted the frame and provided sports coaching for the launch day. I was pleased to present a plaque to Cllr McIntyre YORhub

We are nearing the completion of our YORhub Framework project to build an extension on to Willerby Carr Lane Primary School. Great work by our site team in completing the works in 8 weeks, and providing approx. 400 hours of invaluable site experience for our apprentices.
