🇺🇦Major Stepan Chobanu, a Sukhoi Su-27 pilot, was killed in air combat on February 28, 2022. During an attack near Kropyvnytsky, he diverted the enemy attention so that young pilots could escape to a backup airfield. He was 58.

This beautiful family doesn’t exist any more. Mykhailo Soloshenko, his wife Inna and son Yefrem were killed when a Russian tank fired on their car. Mykhailo was a Sumy University graduate - they confirmed his passing and released this photo.
