Proud to add my name as a co-sponsor of legislation (H.1758) to protect and empower sex workers.

Sex work is real work. Oftentimes, governments sweep sex work into the effort to end sex trafficking, which hurts folks who (like all workers) choose to use their bodily autonomy for potential economic prosperity. We need the voices of sex workers to distinguish that.

We should think about what that means for censorship of indie/feminist porn by private credit card companies + banks. Can't get a bank loan, can't get startup financing, pay 11% more/transaction in fees, PLUS addn'l annual fees, how is anyone but a conglomerate gonna make porn?

Apparently the credit card fees I pay annually to run a 'high risk' porn site that has never had a chargeback, have just *DOUBLED* for no reason. On top of the 14% fees/transaction.
This is likely the final nail in the coffin for my site.
