Safeguarding economic security is crucial for our countries 🇬🇧🇸🇨. Today, we signed an Economic Security partnership, committing to work with the Seychelles to combat financial crimes and corruption, making the UK safer and paving the way for mutual growth.

Billions of pounds are lost every year to illicit financial flows in Africa. The UK is co-hosting the AfBOTN Conference in Seychelles, where we are united in increasing transparency to tackle financial crime both across Africa and in the UK.

Minister for Africa Collins of Highbury visited Seychelles from 7-9 Oct, witnessing the signing of a new 🇬🇧🇸🇨 Economic Security Partnership, a Health-Education partnership between University of Oxford & Uni Of Seychelles, and delivered an opening address at the AfBOTN Beneficial Ownership Conference.

Seychelles most famous son, Jonathan🐢, the oldest living land animal, sent a special message home on the occasion of the visit of Collins of Highbury, Minister for Africa to Victoria.
