Mexican Thorn encroaching onto our beach nature reserves being cut down and treated. The thorn is highly invasive, removing essential nesting habitat for turtles and harbouring rodents which predate eggs/hatchlings.

St Helena has three resident species of dolphin 🐬 This week we are featuring the rough-toothed dolphin who can be seen swimming in pods with bottlenose dolphins in small numbers. This species gets its name from the fine vertical grooves in their teeth.
