Did not expect this CORNCRAKE to run out in front of me last night and onto a bank!! This young male is the first ringed here since 2015. Also a Golden Plover (first since 1994, 5th ever), a Moorhen, a Wheatear, a Snipe, 2 Oystercatchers and two Meadow Pipits caught 🇺🇦🕊 Bardsey Lodge & Bird Obs
