Did not expect this CORNCRAKE to run out in front of me last night and onto a bank!! This young male is the first ringed here since 2015. Also a Golden Plover (first since 1994, 5th ever), a Moorhen, a Wheatear, a Snipe, 2 Oystercatchers and two Meadow Pipits caught πΊπ¦π Bardsey Lodge & Bird Obs
A male Reed Bunting popped up just outside the Robbie Garnett hide, absolutely lovely bird to see up close! #GlosBirds

A short stop off at RSPB Frampton Marsh π today after some time up north, Lesser Yellowlegs right by the car park showing fantastically as it seemingly never stopped feeding. Hundreds of Brent Geese dropping in off the salt marsh and a Kestrel eyeing up the footpath!
