Today we hosted our 10th Annual Parent University and we couldn't be prouder of the engagement from our Isaac families! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Together, we're not just navigating the future of technology; we're shaping it with thoughtful, and proactive steps.

We're making history with City of Phoenix, AZ and partners, AZSA and V&P Nurseries, as we plant 80 trees at Morris K. Udall & Alta E. Butler. This marks the 1st school tree planting funded by the American Rescue Plan Act through the Canopy for Kids Program in Arizona.

Today, I joined Isaac School District to plant the first 80 trees (of nearly 250!) in their school district as part of our Canopy for Kids grant program. Thanks to historic federal funding, we're making progress on our goals to expand shade coverage across every part of the city.🌳

Congrats to Isaac Middle School for being one of 122 schools across the nation and the only school in Arizona to have been named a 2024 SupportMusic Merit Award winner by the The NAMM Foundation. This award is given to schools that demonstrate outstanding support of music education.

We are proud of our ISD scholars for their achievements, not only in the classroom but also within the community. One of our Middle School Sustainability Officers, Aislynn L. from Morris K. Udall led the Pledge of Allegiance at Mayor Kate Gallego's State of The City Address.

Our ISD Arts Festival featured students' artistic and musical talents district-wide. Families enjoyed performances, including musicals, dance, choir, band, ballet, and more. We extend our gratitude to all who joined us and appreciate everyone who helped make this event a success.

Today, we celebrated the 47 new clean school buses now serving students throughout #PHX. Thanks to federal funding, schools are replacing diesel buses with electric ones that are better for the environment and for our kids’ health! 🌎🚌 Thank you for hosting us, Isaac School District!

We celebrated the introduction of 6 new electric school buses to our district. These environmentally friendly vehicles promote a cleaner atmosphere and offers students healthier air quality during their rides. Thank you to all who are committed in environmental sustainability.
