Not making a difference to social care workers in Wales, simply because Welsh Government not providing Local Authorites with funding to pay the increased rates. Please honour your pledge!
It happened for about 6 months! Social care workers aren't being paid it anymore, shocking u-turn on a core WG pledge! Ceidiog PR Ceidiog Hughes Welsh Government Living Wage Wales
How about meaningful suppprt for Social Care Workers in Wales e.g the Real Living Wage. £1 an hour would make a huge difference, fantastic support, thanks to Living Wage Wales. Welsh Government need to step up and honour their pledge.
Really!! Welsh Labour appear to have done a u-turn on that pledge. The Living Wage Wales has gone up to £10.90. Is Welsh Government really committed to paying it? They've gone very quite! Too much to fund perhaps.
#LabourConference2022 trusted to deliver on our pledges? Welsh Government Welsh Labour not setting a good example. They pledged to ensure all social care workers paid the Real Living Wage..until it went up!! BBC Wales News Ceidiog Hughes Will Keir Starmer go back on his word?
Excellent story. Lovely to hear that Living Wage Wales is making a difference to peoples lives. Welsh Government have gone very quite on their pledge to ensure all social care workers in Wales paid it.
Please help social care workers in Wales receive the new Living Wage Wales Living Wage Foundation (£10.90) as promised to them by Welsh Government petitions.senedd.wales/petitions/2452…
Just to be clear. Welsh Government are NOT paying the RLW Living Wage Wales (£10.90) to carers in wales. They are only paying £9.90 Julie Morgan MS The quote on BBC Radio Wales this evening will mislead carers accross wales.
