Solar power has beat every forecast, every expectation, for the last several decades. It is continuing to do so. I always ask: what do you think is going to happen next? canarymedia.com/articles/solar…

On a typical weekday there are about 1/10 as many cars in this rotary as there are bikes here and they're completely stopped in traffic.

Every MTA rider will need an elevator at some point in their life.   We need to fully fund the next MTA capital plan to make 60+ NYCT Subway stations ADA compliant and get started on the 23 that were already paid for before Governor Kathy Hochul paused congestion pricing.

Last week, Sen. Brownsberger and I met with DCR and leaders of the BU Bridge Safety Alliance. As a result, DCR has agreed to incorporate our feedback on the pending upgrades by further narrowing vehicle lanes and further widening sidewalks from Magazine Beach to the BU Boathouse.

"In cities, there are enough cameras in some zones that many drivers give up trying to game the system. When enough drivers default to the limit, even those willing to take ticket risk tend to slow. Over time new habits form and the old speeds may feel too fast."

Sigh. 300,000 homes is 0.3% of the single-family homes in the US. It is 0.67% of rental housing units. Private equity firms own 3.6% of all apartments and 1.6% of houses for rent. Most vacant homes are second/vacation homes or under renovation. Few are investment properties.
