Thanks all that voted for me. It was always a long shot, but I'm glad to have uncovered a substantial Green vote in a ward we've previously not contested. The real news is our wider success in the Dales - congratulations to Green district councillors Neil, Matt, Kelda & Laura!

This is quite something! Those 4 Greens will punch above their weight for sure and help the District take a constructive new direction.

Gez is an excellent councillor and should obviously be on the committee based on his knowledge and experience. The conservative group's justifications for removing him do not hold up to a moment's scrutiny. What is going on here?
