This is reminiscent of a trans-identifying male runner in UK who demanded of a major event provider that they change their categories so that he would feel comfortable. They duly obeyed. This male started parkrun in F cat, then moved to AGI/PNTS, & is now back in F cat.

I’ve been away so catching up on all the males running in the Female category in UK parkrun. And history was made last Saturday, 31 Aug! 🥳 As usual, males finished 1st Female - this time two did it. One of them beat all men in the same age category & got top age grade %….

…score by nearly 10%. The other made history by not only finishing 1st Female but 1st overall. Let me explain why this is significant. To cross the line first, reach the finish before everyone else, or win - use whatever words you want, I’m talking about beating everyone…

Shameful that Great Run only allows the female elite runners and prize winners to have fair, male-free results For the mass race, males are welcome to self ID into the female category, even though this is in breach of their England Athletics race licence

The Ride Across Britain is this week, and male athlete Farrah Herbert is riding in the women's category. And before anyone says it's "not a race:" This event is timed. Everyone wants to see how they measure up against their peers. Women deserve a category for, you know, WOMEN.
