I ❤️ doing research in classrooms w/ teachers & students for so many reasons. I am going through social validity results today and one student responded that the most important thing they learned was “everything” while another one wrote “I don’t even remember what we did.” 😂

Thanks! Matthew Burns too. I hope Science of Math can be a conversation catalyst to talk about what is most likely to work for whom, for what content, & under what conditions. We need to know when to explicitly instruct, when to explore, & how to use data to decide.
