Papers are pouring out. My new paper in Nature Communications just came out today. How Zα could influence the #RNA binding specificity of ADAR1 #NMR #RNA Vögeli_Lab CU Anschutz Medical Campus rdcu.be/ceL7f
Thanks Trends in Biochemical Sciences ! -- We had a lot of fun writing this review! @mkesghoneim CU Anschutz Medical Campus
This was a super fun collaboration between our lab, Emma Morrison, and @EvolBiochemist - led by undergrad Brianna Lupo. We uncovered structural and functional coupling in the BRM AT-BD that is conserved over 1 billion years! This was an awesome collaboration with EpiCypher, Inc. ! The dCypher approach allowed us to test how the nucleosome alters the pattern of histone PTMs selected for by reader domains. The nucleosome context is critical for understanding reader function! 👇 CU Anschutz Medical Campus Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Excited to finally share our new work from the Bret Freudenthal where we determine how the critical DNA repair protein APE1 recognizes and processes DNA damage in the nucleosome. Updated tweet 👇 (1/n) biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Our work from the Bret Freudenthal describing how the DNA repair protein APE1 binds and processes AP sites in the nucleosome is now out in Nature Communications! @NIGMS KU Cancer Center nature.com/articles/s4146…
So excited for this collaboration with @chrmosimann laboratory! Thanks to FedEx for introducing us 😂 and to U.S. National Science Foundation for supporting this project.
Happy to share our most recent work with DykhuizenLab lab on the binding of PBRM1 bromodomains to RNA. As always a super fun collaboration! Led by Saumya De Silva and Alisha Dhiman with contributions from Surbhi Sood Kilsia Mercedes Morkos Henen Vögeli_Lab academic.oup.com/nar/advance-ar…
