This morning in Marseille, @IFRC and SOS MEDITERRANEE addressed media aboard our humanitarian rescue ship #OceanViking. The Mediterranean is as deadly as ever for people on the move. We call on all actors to dignify the lives of children, women and men survivors of rescues at sea.

Thousands of displaced are arriving to Armenia through Lachin Corridor leaving everything behind. The Armenian Red Cross teams have mobilized to meet them at humanitarian service points. People are receiving food, water, first aid and much-needed psychosocial support there.

People fleeing the conflict area through the Lachin corridor have come through a lot and desperately need safety and care. 🗣️Hicham Diab is sharing what he has seen at the reception point in Armenia where Armenian Red Cross supported by @IFRC is welcoming displaced people.

These are Armenian Red Cross volunteers in Goris. Working night and day, they have been providing support to displaced people fleeing the conflict area and arriving to Armenia. Thank you, guys! You are amazing! ❤️

Having fled from the conflict, tens of thousands of people are trying to settle down in Armenia. Supported by IFRC, Armenian Red Cross is assisting families in centres for displaced across the country. 🗣️ Hear from María Alcázar Castilla who has visited people in one of these centres.
