I'm finding Twitter increasingly hard to use, not cos of its continued decent into the sewer, but compared to Bluesky which curates content in 'feeds', tweets that don't use hashtags (the majority) are effectively lost in the wind so I have to go hunting for specific content 😩

Great to see this Merlin on the post cam from Worlingham marshes last week. This winter a Merlin has appeared several times on trail cams along the lower Waveney valley but I have yet to see one with my own eyes. SuffolkWildlifeTrust Suffolk Wildlife Trust North East Reserves

Arriving back in #Wales from Switzerland and you immediately see why we are so #nature depleted. Barren hillsides with few trees or wildflowers compared to hillsides full of flowers, birds, insects, trees and cattle. The difference is mind blowing. We need urgent change.

This is my brother. I believe he may be headed to Minsmere, Suffolk. Probably Whin Hill. Please keep a lookout for him if you are there. Thank you. RSPB

Hey #raptor #birdmigration fanatics! Over the past months I've added to eBird what's now almost 3,500 photos of raptors in flight from 4 years at Batumi Raptor Count — Most photos are aged/sexed, so you can filter down to specific plumages (and more). Enjoy! 🔗media.ebird.org/catalog?userId…

A very rare post for me here, for UK County Recorders interested in cleaning and extracting data from eBird. I've recently updated and rehosted the app from a couple years ago, and it now maps records to Watsonian boundaries. You can now find it here: …cordcleaner.share.connect.posit.cloud
