Chino Valley Fire responded to vegetation fire alongside CAL FIRE in the area of Peyton and Woodview. Forward progress stopped at .8 acres. Firefighters will remain on scene for several hours doing mop up operations. #CanyonFire CAL FIRE BDU







#EuclidFire has burned 118 acres. The fire is on both sides of the Hwy 71 @ Euclid. The freeway is shut down in both directions. Chino Valley Fire is in unified command w/ CALFIRE BDU/RRU-Riverside County Fire & SBSO. There are structures threatened. CAL FIRE BDU

#EuclidFire is 40% contained. Crews made progress overnight mopping up hot spots around the perimeter adding additional containment lines. Specialized felling crews will be working in the eucalyptus grove to remove more fire-damaged trees & ensure safety in the area. CAL FIRE BDU

#EuclidFire is 55% contained. Crews gridded the interior of the fire looking for hot spots & extended the containment line securing the west side of Hwy 71. The felling crews removed several more fire-damaged trees. Firefighters will patrol & mop up through the night. CAL FIRE BDU
