ATTN DRIVERS: U.S. 395 has reopened through Cartago in Inyo County. Caltrans District 9 maintenance crews will remain on scene in case conditions change.

ATTN DRIVERS: U.S. 395 is closed in both directions in Inyo County due to a fire east of the highway. The closure extends from postmile 36, just south of the Crystal Geyser plant near Cartago, to postmile 39. Vehicles are being allowed through the closure area intermittently.
