Been at a screening of Artifishal this evening in Shrewsbury. So tragic to see and hear of the plight of salmon. Even more proud now though of the amazing work of Unlocking the Severn to help our populations of salmon and other species
Great to see progress and the sun still shining on the excavation works for the Unlocking the Severn fish pass at Diglis
Brilliant to be back up and running at the Bevere weir fish pass after finishing all the winter flood and storm clean up. With some “normal” conditions we’re aiming to be finished here by late summer Unlocking the Severn
Great to see more progress on the Lincomb weir fish pass. We’ll be finishing piling here early next week and then moving on to the excavation . What a difference doing things in the dry Unlocking the Severn

We nearly made Christmas without overtopping but we've got 2m+ of water over the top of our Unlocking the Severn fish pass at Diglis. We'll return in the new year with hopefully lower river levels so we can finish off. At least our new viewing window and flood door get an early test
