On day 1 of my mission to Geneva I met with UN High Commissioner Volker Türk and UNHCR Assistent HR for Protection RuvenMenik and discussed key human rights across Europe. We all agreed on the need for ever strengthened cooperation in our shared goals.



During the morning of day 2 of my mission to Geneva I continued my dialogue with international partners including World Economic Forum, Gilles Carbonnier and President UN Human Rights Council on embedding human rights in the peace pathway for Ukraine, AI and human rights and civil society.


Wrapping up my meeetings in Geneva I discussed issues related to the war in Ukraine with Morris Tidball-Binz United Nations Special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary and arbitrary executions. With Katharina Rose GANHRI we exchanged on the importance of NHRIs for #humanrights protection



Constructive meeting with Zeljko Jovanovic, President of the Roma Foundation for Europe, discussing ways to advance respect for the #HumanRights of #Roma. Combating antigypsyism and supporting Roma empowerment is crucial for the communities' equal access to rights and opportunities.



At Council of Europe Ministerial session I had bilaterals w Minister for Foreign Affairs of Armenia,Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan,Minister for Legal Protection of the Netherlands & Minister for Human Rights of the UK.Grateful for open dialogue on strengthening #humanrights
